The treasure chamber - For you, when things get tight
The treasure trove is a solidarity project for students at Paderborn University, Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences (Lippstadt site) and the Catholic University of Applied Sciences NRW, Paderborn department. Here you will find donated everyday items that you can take for your own use free of charge - in an uncomplicated way and according to the principle of trust and fairness. Whether household goods, clothes, books or decorations - what others no longer need may be just right for you.

Where you the Treasury find
The treasure chamber is located directly next to the picnic in the former office of the café (ME0.113) in the ME building of Paderborn University.

Donations instead of throwing away
Do you have things that are still in good condition but are just gathering dust? Then bring them along!
Donations can either be handed in directly at the Treasury during opening hours or at the social counselling service of the Studierendenwerk. Together, we will make the Treasury a place where help becomes very practical.
What can for the treasury be donated?
You can donate what you no longer need in the treasury! A good to very good general condition is a prerequisite for donations.

What is this The aim of the treasure trove offer?
The treasury pursues a social and sustainable goal:
Many things such as household items, technology or children's clothing do not have to end up in the bin if they still work. Instead, they can be passed on to students who can make good use of them - and who may not be able to afford new purchases at the moment.
This creates an offer that helps and conserves resources at the same time. Because reuse not only reduces the burden on your wallet - but also on the environment. A win-win situation for everyone!
Note on the Acceptance of donations
In order to keep the treasure trove organised and usable, we may temporarily stop accepting new donations if we run out of space. We also reserve the right to pass on items that have not been taken after 3 months to other aid organisations or - if necessary - to dispose of them.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping to use the treasure trove sensibly and fairly!
