Your DeliCard - cashless & uncomplicated

With the DeliCard you are well equipped for everyday university life: You can use it to pay conveniently without cash in all canteens, cafés and launderettes of the Paderborn Student Union.

You can obtain the DeliCard directly from the DeliCard Service at Liese-Dreyer-Weg or in the CampusEck in the canteen foyer.

Charging made easy

You can top up your DeliCard with credit in various ways:

  • Cash top-up machines: at the machines in Paderborn (Mensafoyer, Mensa Academica), Lippstadt (Mensa Atrium) and Hamm (Mensa Basilica) - selectable from €5 to €150.
  • Direct top-up at the checkout by debit or credit card with freely selectable amounts directly onto the DeliCard.
  • Easyload: Automatic, cashless top-up directly at the till. All you need is a one-off registration at the DeliCard Service (in the CampusEck or at Liese-Dreyer-Weg) with your DeliCard, EC card and ID card. Prerequisite: a German bank account.

With Easyload, you decide how much credit you want your card to top up automatically and how much (minimum €10, maximum €50). You can view your transactions online at any time - so you always have an overview.

How payment works

Quite simply:

  1. You order your food at the checkout.
  2. The employees enter your selection into the checkout system.
  3. You put your DeliCard to the reader - and leaves it there until the payment process is complete.

Your current credit balance is displayed directly. You can also check how much money is left on your card at any time at the top-up machines or with the credit testers.
Important: Make sure that your DeliCard is sufficiently topped up before each purchase. If your credit falls below a set limit, you can top up with Easyload automatically top up credit when you pay.

Tip: Also EC card payment is possible - here, however, the Guest price.

easyload - Your advantages in everyday life

Easyload makes your everyday life with the DeliCard not only easier, but also more sustainable:

  • Fast & free of charge - No cash, no queuing at the revaluator
  • Simple - Topping up the DeliCard at the checkout if the card balance is insufficient at the request of the checkout employee, i.e. never without your consent
  • Transparent - App shows you your balance and transactions at all times
  • Refreshing - Free glass of water with your lunch

The practical thing about Easyload: You decide how much credit you want your card to top up automatically and how high the amount can be (minimum €10, maximum €50). You also keep the Online card service You can keep track of all top-ups and debits at all times. So you know exactly when and where money has been moved.

If you lose your DeliCard, you can quickly and easily online, by e-mail or directly from the DeliCard service have it blocked. To do this, you need the serial number (on the receipt or SEPA mandate). If this is missing, your bank details will also suffice.

Frequent Questions about the DeliCard (FAQ)

You can pick up your DeliCard during opening hours at the CampusEck (canteen foyer, ME building) or in the DeliCard service on Liese-Dreyer-Weg pick up.

At the revaluator: Bar between 5 € and 150 € (Locations: Mensafoyer & Mensa Academica in Paderborn, Mensa Atrium Lippstadt, Mensa Basilica Hamm).

With Easyload: Register once (in the CampusEck, at the DeliCard service or online) and your card is automatically topped up when you pay - without cash. You decide how much credit you want to top up (€10-50).

You order your food at the checkout.

Place your DeliCard on the reader - and leave it there until the process is complete.

Your credit balance is displayed directly. If it falls below your limit, you can use Easyload charge automatically.

Topping up your DeliCard with Easyload works in conjunction with a purchase at the checkouts of our facilities.

To prevent misuse, a top-up via Easyload can only be made once a day for your security. Further card top-ups are possible with cash, EC card or credit card at the cash desks.

Please avoid topping up your DeliCard without cash if you have an uncovered bank account. If a chargeback is made after topping up via Easyload due to an uncovered bank account, your DeliCard will be blocked, as topping up the DeliCard from an uncovered bank account causes debts to the Studierendenwerk.

Payment arrears can be paid in cash to the DeliCard Service. Your DeliCard will then be unblocked.

The credit on your DeliCard is displayed directly when you pay at the tills. You can also see your credit balance at the top-up machines. To get your DeliCard back, press the issue button to the right of the display. Credit testers are also available.

Register in the DeliCard service, in the CampusCorner or block your card directly online/by e-mail. Important: Keep your Serial number or your bank details so that we can clearly allocate the card.

You can change the limit and revaluation amount set during registration at any time. You can change this yourself online. A change to the top-up amount can also be implemented at your DeliCard service on request.

Send us a Mail with the request that Easyload should be deactivated. It is important to enter your card number here. We will then deactivate Easyload. You can then register for Easyload directly online via our card service using your new bank details.

You can change your Easyload settings online at any time in the Card service customise. If you would like to change your bank details or cancel Easyload, please contact the DeliCard service - We will be happy to help you.

At present, you can only participate in the Easyload procedure if you have an account with a bank in Germany.
