We’re looking for new members to join the Grill|Café team in the afternoons!

🥗Help with preparing simple meals on site

🥤Selling and serving our food and drinks at the bar

What we offer:

• Flexible working hours can be arranged on an individual basis between 2.00 pm and 9.00 pm (Mon–Thu, during term time)
• Remuneration in accordance with the TVöD (VKA), pay group 1
• Working as part of a dedicated team right next to the university

Due to the lecture-free period, there will be changes to the opening hours of the following StW PB catering facilities on the University of Paderborn campus:

👉🏼FORUM:

• Mon–Fri, 8.00 am–3.00 pm: New counter open
• 27 July – 31 July: Market area closed
• 28 September – 9 October: Market area closed
• The 50% programme is cancelled during the semester break

👉🏼Mensa Academica

• 3 August – 25 September: closed

👉🏼Barbecue | Café

• 24 July – 1 October: closed

👉🏼Bona Vista

• Mon–Fri, 8.00 am–3.00 pm: open
• 17–21 August: closed

Back in May, we asked you to share your favourite dishes for the canteen menu – in keeping with the motto „Love goes through the canteen“! We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the brilliant recipes we received!

From the recipes submitted, our panel of culinary experts selected seven finalists, who prepared their ‘heart-warming’ dishes themselves last week during the cooking session at the FORUM on 18 June and then presented them to a select panel of judges.

The result was clear: all the ‘Heart’ dishes won over the final judging panel!💚

That’s why we’re presenting these seven ‘heart-warming’ dishes to you for the first time during the week of 6 to 10 July 2026 on the canteen menu at Mensa Academica and FORUM! Do pop in so you don’t miss out on the delicious ‘HerzGerichte’!

It's that easy to take part:

• Step 1: Think about your HerzGericht!
• Step 2: Fill out the entry form and send your recipe by 31.05.2026 to herzgericht@stwpb.de!
• Step 3: Our expert gastronomy jury will select the finalists who will cook their HerzGerichte dishes at the cooking session in the FORUM on 18 June.
• Step 4: The dishes from the cooking session on 18 June will be tasted directly by a selected jury and finally judged!
• Step 5: From 6 to 10 July, the winning dishes will be presented to the public for the first time and offered in the Mensa Academica menu! Afterwards you will find your HerzGericht in the Mensa menu!
